Drain & Sewer Cleaning
When it comes to plumbing problems, particularly with drains, many homeowners are often faced with the daunting prospect of expensive replacements or relining options. However, what if there was a better, more cost-effective solution that could restore your drains to their original state?
At All-Flo Plumbing, we’ve been specializing in restoring and remediating drains with over 4 generations of industry experience. In fact, over 99% of the thousands of drains we handle each year can be returned to full flow without the need for replacement. Instead of opting for costly replacements or relining, our proven best practices can often return your drains to full flow, saving both time and money.
Unfortunately, many homeowners are not aware of an alternative to costly repairs and replacements. Often, they are only presented with the option of replacement or relining, which often includes the cost of cleaning the drain line to apply a successful liner. This lack of awareness can lead to unnecessary expenditures and anxiety. Note: if the line can be cleaned and a video inspection shows no indication of a compromised pipe or other major concerns, more than likely it will be more cost-effective to do an annual inspection or a maintenance cleaning of the drain.
This is why we encourage members of our community to seek a professional second opinion when faced with drain issues. By doing so, you can explore alternatives that prioritize restoration and maintenance, potentially saving you a significant amount of money in the process.
All-Flo Plumbing is committed to providing timely inspections and value-driven options for our customers. If further action is needed beyond inspection, we will work with you to find the most cost-effective solution that restores your drains to optimal condition.

General Plumbing Services
High Pressure Water Jetting
Hydro jetting opens, cleans and flushes all in one process, and is most capable of restoring drains to full flow operation. Think of your plumbing system like arteries. Arteries can get a build up of plaque over time that can cause narrowing and even clogging. Pipes are no different! How do we deal with the build-up of accumulated scale, grease, and grit? The answer: hydro jetting! This method uses a high-pressure hose that blasts the residue from the inner walls of your pipes to fully clear them and restore them to the proper working condition.
Think of it as setting the “reset” button without unnecessary damage to your pipes. The key difference between snaking” and hydro-jetting is that the snake only removes some of the debris while the hydro-jet clears all of it.
Think your pipes may be clogged? Remove the build-up of accumulated scale, grease, grit and anything else that may be narrowing your pipes with our local hydro jetting services. Call 616-361-7800 today.
Drain Inspection
If you have a drainage backup, are buying a new house, or are just curious about the health of your DWV (Drainage, Waste, Vent System. Schedule a camera inspection today or ask the technician onsite to perform an inspection. Camera inspections will tell the true state of the drainage system and can help navigate what equipment is best to maintain it or if it is in good working condition. So, if you like the idea of preventative vs potential emergency and would like peace of mind, call All-Flo Plumbing today for a camera inspection.
Cabling Services
Snakes/Cables are used primarily for opening drains, general cleaning, and retrieving purposes. If there is a clog in your pipe or drain system, a cabling machine consisting of a long cable with a cutting head on the end of it is inserted into the pipe system to clear through clogs. We can ensure the debris has been removed via video inspection.
Descale Cast Iron Pipes
All-Flo Plumbing has been returning pipe to full flow operation for years by means of skilled technicians, innovated approaches, industry leading diagnostics and modern professional drain cleaning equipment. Scale
occurring in cast iron pipe is not a new problem out there, but has become more relevant in recent years due to more camera inspections displaying the inefficiency a drainage system can have with a large amount of scale present. This is most commonly a problem in lines that handle solid waste, but large quantities of scale can, also, affect the systems ability to properly vent due to the water to air ratio being compromised by a foreign obiect in the line. In ears past this was often overlooked and either reguired more maintenance intervals and emergency backups or just replacement, which both can often incur a lot of cost. The technical term of the scale occurring is known as tuberculation, which is a bacterial-based oxygen-driven form of corrosion. This has mostly been resolved by better manufacturing techniques and lining the inside of the cast iron with cement.
All-Flo Plumbing utilizes several combinations of equipment to help deal with this matter. Restoring full flow is not rocket science, but can often take a little more time and effort than one might expect. The cast iron pipe is generally restorable by utilizing high speed milling drain equipment, hydro jet, and camera inspection equipment to aid and validate the cleaning. Note: sometimes there may be other problems that become apparent while cleaning. Please call All-Flo Plumbing, and let us know if you would like us to help restore full flow for your drains.
